Description: In 1973 Fisher-Price introduced their very first sports toys: the #199 Basketball set and the #100 Bowling Game. The basketball set includes a backboard with a special basket for child's first years of basketball practice! When child makes a basket, a bell will ring. The backboard has a built-in score board.
Accessories:
  • White hardboard basketball backboard with pictures of children playing basketball and the words "Fisher-Price Basketball" across the top. The backboard has an attached red plastic basket that makes a hidden bell ring when child makes a basket. Each bottom corner of the backboard has a built-in rotating counter with a small round window that shows the current score. One side is marked "Home" and the other side is marked "Visitors".
  • 2 each - Yellow 3/4" thick round wooden pole that supports the basketball backboard.
  • Rectangular blue plastic base with 2 recessed holes for the 2 backboard support poles, 2 recessed circular areas to store the basketballs and a recessed rectangular area in the center to store the two beanbags.
  • Small blue plastic ball that is textures to look like a real basketball. The ball has an "FP" imprint on the side.
  • Small yellow plastic ball that is textures to look like a real basketball. The ball has an "FP" imprint on the side.
