Item: ORANGE/RED CASH REGISTER Toy Line: Fisher-Price Occupational, Household, & Skill Toys Color: Orange/Red Description: Plastic cash register with a red base and an orange-ish (plastic) upper housing. The register has a brown coin shelf on the front, a green cash drawer under the coin shelf, a red coin-return chute on the side, a green crank handle on the other side, and woodgrain lithos. The register HAS a back litho. Other Features: Overall size: 9-1/8" wide x 7-7/8" deep x 7-3/4" tall. The green rotating crank handle on the side makes a bell ring, and opens the cash drawer. The register has 3 round colored push-down keys on the front: Red (nickel--marked "5"), yellow (dime--marked "10"), and blue (quarter--marked "25"). Each key operates a sliding plastic tab that releases an accessory coin from the coin slots above the key down into the register (coins then return down the red side chute). The red lever/slider has a red litho picture of a green smiling balloon; the yellow slider has yellow litho picture of a red apple, and the blue slider has a blue litho picture of a white vanilla ice cream scoop on top of a tan ice cream cone (the ice cream has a cherry on top!). The front side of the register has a round green push-down "SALE" key that operates a sliding message box in the window above the key. The message box has a white NO SALE sign; pushing the green key moves the message to a green "SALE" message. The front side of the register also has a round red push-down "NO SALE" key that operates a sliding message box in the window above the key.
