The Original Little People 2-seat cars with front-to-back seats were made with two different molds during it's production. The older vehicles are marked "fp" and "Fisher-Price Toys" on the hood and on the bottom of the car, and they do not have a tow hook hole on the bottom. These older vehicles were available with wheels either marked "Fisher-Price Toys" or NOT marked "Fisher-Price" toys. The newer vehicles were made with a slightly different mold. The hood is not marked and the bottom of the car has a tow hook hole. Most of the newer vehicles are marked "©1969-1987 FISHER-PRICE" on the bottom of the car, but an occassional few are marked "fp" and "Fisher-Price Toys" on the bottom. We have never seen a newer vehicle with wheels marked "Fisher-Price Toys", click here for an illustration of the wheels.
