Description: The #935 Tool Box Work Bench is the first of many toy tool boxes that Fisher-Price made, but just as with movies, the first is the best and most ingenious. This handy little work bench has a wooden base with several holes cut into it that allow child to apply the accessory nuts and screws. The workbench has a hinged plastic lid that holds accessory tools on the inside and has a handy carry handle on top. When the lid is closed the bench looks like a tool box and all accessories fit inside.
Accessories:
  • Workbench - Rectangular wooden workbench with various holes and slots to allow nail and bolt entry. The workbench has a paper lithograph "pegboard" on the back "wall" that holds the accessory saw. A hinged white plastic fold-over lid has a red plastic carrying handle on top and molded compartments on the inside to hold accessory tools. The front of the lid has a hinged latch that hooks onto a peg on the front of wooden workbench to keep the set securely closed for storage. The right side of the work bench has a permanently attached white vise unit that is activated via a twist-knob. NOTE: The white vise unit and twist knob are often missing, either broken off or omitted during later production. *See "Variations" below.
  • Tools:
    • FPT3392 - Screwdriver - Yellow hollow plastic flat-head toy screwdriver with a round grooved handle. The handle has a narrow neck by the screwdriver head, then gets larger in 2 places. The largest part of the handle is on the end. The screwdriver should be opposite the color of the wrench. *See "Variations" below.
