Description: In 1991, Fisher-Price tried to revive the popular My Friend Doll series that began in 1977 and ended in 1985. The 1991 My Friend dolls have plastic faces and hands, long brushable hair, soft cloth bodies, and removable outfits. The new My Friend Doll series lasted only one year. The new dolls had faces that were not as cute as the original My Friend dolls. They have big chubby cheeks, large round eyes, a bump nose, and a mouth that looks like that of a Cabbage Patch Kid. If Fisher-Price had used the same faces and bodied that they used in the original My Friend Doll series, then they would have had another successful hit on their hands.

Anyone who may of had one of these dolls and wants another to replace the original may have a hard time doing so. The limited production of the dolls make them very hard to find.

The dolls are machine washable and dryer safe. Designed for children ages 2 years and older.
