Description: Fabric stores and cloth departments are quite rare in this day and age, as few people have time to sew. During the late seventies and early eighties, sewing was far more common and these McCall's pattern sets, complete with patterns to make My Friend doll clothes, was a great idea for mothers and children who preferred to give their doll a more "personalized" look by dressing them in clothes that they had made.
