Description: Fabric stores and cloth departments are quite rare in this day and age, as few people have time to sew. During the late seventies and early eighties, sewing was far more common and these McCall's pattern sets, complete with patterns to make My Friend doll clothes, was a great idea for mothers and children who preferred to give their doll a more "personalized" look by dressing them in clothes that they had made.
Accessories:
  • FPT5016 - McCall's simple sewing pattern to make clothes for My Friend Dolls. The pattern has instruction and pattern pieces to make coveralls, shirts, polo-shirts, a fancy apron, coat, hat, short dress, long dress, and a bonnet.
  • FPT5017 - McCall's simple sewing pattern to make clothes for My Friend Dolls. The pattern has instruction and pattern pieces to make a boys and girls tennis outfit, mahorette outfit, exercise outfit, jogging suit, and a sweatsuit pattern.
Variations: None.
Other Information:
  • Although we do not know the exact dates this pattern was made, we do know that it was sometime during the late 1970's to early1980's.
