#507 Pushy Doodle
Years Made:
Fisher-Price Toy Department
Department 8:
Push, Pull, & Floor Toys
1933-1933
Description: In 1932 Fisher-Price decided to turn the #100 Doctor Doodle (1932 orange wheel version) into a push toy. A simple hole in the back of Doctor Doodle's back allows for a blue 18" push stick, tada! It's a push toy! Pushy Doodle was made for only one year...retailers probably did not want to carry two of the same toy, one as a push toy and one as a pull toy.
Accessories:
  • FPT4265 - Pushy Doodle - Wooden duck with a long orange neck, orange bills, and decorated with colorful lithographs of a yellow head and yellow body, blue tuxedo jacket with a white shirt under it and a white flower in the pocket. Has a black wood top hat and carries a lithograph black medical bag by his side. He had thin front orange wheels with rubber bands for traction. Doctor Doodle does have a logo on his tail and a hole in his back for the removable push stick. Measures 7" long, 11-1/2" tall, 4" wide.
  • FPT4814 - Blue 18" long wooden push stick with a round wooden safety ball on one end and screw threads on the other end.
Variations: None.
