Larger Photo	Description: This set includes two child favorites: a Little Golden Book titled "The Tortoise and the Hare", and a Tag-Along Turtle that children can play with while mommie reads the story. The turtle used in this set is the same as 1978-1986 as #644 Tag-Along Turtle. While collectors may be able to find several Little Golden Books titled "The Tortoise and the Hare", the books that were sold in this set were specifically marked "Fisher-Price" on the lower left corner of the book's cover. This set was designed for children ages 1 to 4 years old. Accessories: FPT8228 - Green all-plastic turtle with a yellow shell, white sailor's cap, and green tail. He rolls on 4 blue tear-shaped wheels. When pulled, his tail wags and he makes a ratchet sound. FPT253 - Little Golden Book titled "The Tortoise and the Hare". This book is marked "Fisher-Price" on the lower left cover. Variations: None. Other Information: Sold in a 16" long, 9" high, 4-3/4" deep display box. Also sold in #2299 Fisher-Price Classics Assortment. The turtle sold in this set was also sold individually from 1978-1986 as #644 Tag-Along Turtle.
