Description: Fisher-Price introduced the #171 Pull-Along Plane in 1981. The #171 remain in production until 1989 and was replaced in 1990 with the #2017 Pull-Along Plane. Both the #171 and #2017 planes look basically the same except the #171 has orange squares on the end of the propeller blades. The plane has a propeller on the front that spins and clicks as the plane is pulled. Designed for children ages 1 to 3 years old.

- Sold in a 8" long, 6-3/8" high, 5-1/2" deep box.
- This plane replaced 1981-1989's #171 Pull-Along Plane, the only thing that changed was the model number.
- This plane was replaced in 1994 with #2252 Pull-Alone Plane. The #2252 is the same size and shape as the #2017, just colored differently.
