Description: The #101 Granny Doodle was one of the very first 16 toys that Fisher-Price made in their beginnings in 1931. By 1932, Granny was slightly changed with different colored wheels (green opposed to orange). In 1933, Fisher-Price had discontinued the #100 Granny Doodle, but introduced the #101 Granny Doodle & Family. Granny looks the same as she did in 1932, but two baby ducks had been attached to follow behind Granny. When pulled by the pull cord, Granny opens and closes her bill with a loud quack (concealed squawker) and baby ducks waddle behind her.
Accessories:
  • FPT4042 - Granny Doodle & Family - Wooden granny doodle with a yellow face, orange bill, orange neck, orange vest with white short sleeves and a white shaw with orange rings around her shoulders. She holds a (printed) baby duck in a basket. Granny rolls on 4 green wheels, the back 2 are small bead wheels. Granny is pulling 2 yellow wooden chicks via metal connector. Each chick wears a white bib with a blue tie and "baby" stitched on the front in red. Each chick rides on 2 small green bead wheels (same size as Granny Doodle's back 2 wheels). Measures 11" high, 15" long, 4" wide.
  • FPT19458 - Granny was sold with a light green felt cloth bonnet (removable).
Variations: None.
